Devon, Deliverance and Dope emails

Do you have any holiday traditions?

I’m not talking about those boring AF ones you see in Christmas movies…I’m talking about the weird shit that only your family does and they don’t have to be limited to Christmas.

Take our summer holiday tradition.

It’s got nothing to do with picnics, BBQs, or days at the beach.

Every summer holiday, without fail we’ll get lost.

I say “lost.”

I don’t mean we end up in some Deliverance-style backwoods town where we’re in fear for our lives.

Though one summer I feared that was exactly what had happened.

We were down on the south coast and I had just been to Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s River Cottage for the day.

On my way back to our holiday home I saw a sign for the village we were staying and thought to myself “Amazing that’ll save me a good 30 minutes”

And off I went on my “shortcut”.

15 minutes later I had no idea where I was.

Stuck on tiny back roads with hedges that were 10ft tall I was convinced I could hear someone play playing a banjo.

I genuinely felt I was heading off into the heart of darkness when I had to reverse back into a field to let a horse and trap get past.

But thankfully, the riders were helpful enough to point me in the right direction and I headed off confident I’d be home before sunset.

And that’s the great thing about knowing your destination…you’re never really lost. You’ve just taken a detour.

And it’s the same with writing.

You need to know where you’re heading.

Do that and you can start your email anywhere.

You might want to pitch your service at the end.

It might be that you’re offering a freebie or a low cost product.

Or, you might simply want to finish off with a lesson.

Today, I wanted to finish off by telling you about Mike’s Frontline Newsletter.

Now, aside from the freebies he’s giving away to sweeten the deal the newsletter itself is a treasure trove of ideas and actionable lessons. Not to mention templates you can plug straight into your business.

Like the Facebook ad templates or anti-New Year Sale templates in the two I had sitting beside me right now.

Both could be plugged straight into your business and bring you in £££.

I could go on, I’ll freely admit I’m a bit of a fanboy, but I won’t bore you any further but you’d be doing yourself a massive favour signing up…certainly if you like the idea of making money.

And if you do like the idea of making bank from your email list then you can sign up here.
