The secret mini-launch formula for getting more clients

How to get better at anything…do more of it.

And it’s true.

Want to get better at running?

Run every day.

Want to get better at playing the guitar?

Play the guitar every day.

Want to make more sales via email?

Sell every day…maybe not.

Contrary to what you’ll see most gurus say I don’t think trying to sell your coaching in every email is a great idea.

If you’re an EComm brand or someone with a tonne of different products then yeah, you might be able to keep things interesting.

But you’re neither of these, you’re a coach.

And your product is your coaching.

So, trying to come up with a different, yet still interesting, take on your coaching is going to be hard.

And all that’s going to happen is you come across as needy and before you know it everyone will be unsubscribing.

As I’ve mentioned before, a far better approach is pitching your services every 4th or 5th email.

One of the great things about this approach is that you can create mini-launches.

Each sequence of 4 or 5 emails builds towards your pitch as you gradually ramp up the emotional impact of the emails.

For a powerlifting coach this might look like this -

Email #1 - Value (logical argument).  The benefits of adding cardio to your training. You can eat more, recover faster, and lift more.

Email #2 - Value (hit the pain points with an emotional punch) . Still talking about the value of cardio but now adding in something about the impact on day-to-day life.

Email #3 - Value (future pacing + emotion) - rather than placing 5th in the 100kg class imagine placing 1st in the 90kg class because you’re no longer a fatty.

Email #4 Value + pitch  - objection handle around why they’ve got cardio all wrong and how to get it right. CTA is the programme where ALL the answers are.

Then rinse and repeat for every set of emails.

Give it a try and let me know how you get on.
